Use the media to your advantage
I don’t know about you, but I spend a great deal of my time watching the news and cringing at some of the daft comments people make when a microphone is put in front of them. Maybe it’s because we work in the media training world showing people how to make a good impression with the press, but I’m sure you too sometimes think “what did he/she say that for? What a gaffe!”
Well, believe it or not, it’s now easier than ever to make a good impression with the media and, no matter how small your business, you too can get that all important FREE publicity with even the biggest newspapers and broadcasters if you play the game. And that’s exactly what dealing with the media is – it’s a game, and if you play by the rules, you’ll become a media darling and save a fortune on advertising.
For example, do you know how to craft a cracking press release? Have you got a great picture to go with it? Can you deliver your message in a 15 to 20 second soundbite? Do you know what to wear on TV and how to sound great on the radio? And, crucially, do you know how to handle those tough questions without looking like you’re avoiding them, while, at the same time getting to the point you want to make?
Well, we know the answers to all those questions and more, because our team has decades of top media experience and we train some of the biggest names in business every week.
There’s never been a better time to get that FREE publicity from the media. With ever-fewer journalists now being expected to multi-task across print and broadcast disciplines the time they have to fill acres of space and air time has been dramatically decreased compared to just a few years ago. And the journalists’ lack of time is fabulous news for you.
If you know how to get your message across and are able deliver it the way the media wants it, then, frankly, it’s never been easier to breathe the oxygen of FREE publicity.
Our team of experts are ready and waiting for your call and in just a few hours or over the course of a day we can show you, as an individual or as a team, how to get the media on your side.
