Neil Simpson
Neil is an award-winning journalist and a former section editor on The Mirror, The Sunday Telegraph and The Mail on Sunday. He has also written regular articles for The Daily Star and many consumer and entertainment magazines. He is an experienced commentator on television and radio and can be commissioned for celebrity-based newspaper articles and columns.
Neil took on his first ghost-writing commission in 1998 when he was asked to help a millionaire businessman produce a unique self-help book. Since then he has written with sports players, pop stars, reality television personalities, high achievers and a host of ‘ordinary’ people who have lived extraordinary lives. He is happy to remain in the background when books are published and never betrays a co-author’s confidence. He is always happy to hear from show business agents, public relations staff and interesting individuals who want to produce a great book whether a biography, story-of-the-show or journalistic project.
Not only has Neil become a sought after ghost writer, he has also written a number of best-selling celebrity books himself including biographies on Jade Goody, Paul O’Grady, Billie Piper, Gordon Ramsay, Jonathan Ross and Little Britain stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams.
His experience of dealing with both personal finance and celebrity clients has resulted in Neil becoming a sought after media trainer.
